Location: Penshurst | Start date: Mid March 2026 | Days: Monday to Thursday | Hours: 35 hours per week | Salary: £27,300 to £31,000
Start date: Ideally w/c 23 March 2026
Days required: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Hours required: 2 x 9:30am to 5:30pm and 2 x 8am to 5:30pm.
Daily (or Live in) Nanny required to care for two children aged 13 months old and 3.5 years old at commencement of employment.
This family have relocated to the area, therefore someone with good local knowledge would be advantageous.
This is a sole charge position with Mum returning to work following the end of her maternity leave, and their relocation to the area
Both parents work a mixture of from home and from the office away from the home, and are not looking to be involved in the nannys day with the children.
This position would be suited to a kind, calm, responsible nanny, who is a clear communicator and uses their initiative and intuition to respond to the childrens needs. Someone who is conscientious, fair and thoughtful and likes an open dialogue and regular communication with their employer.
Someone with a keen interest in arts and crafts and baking too, and is proactive with ideas and getting the children outside as often as possible. Someone passionate about caring for children and reaching their developmental milestones. Awareness of Montessori principles would be helpful but not essential.
Duties to include but not limited to, nursery runs, attending local groups and classess, arranging activities and playdates suitable for both children, nursery duties and batch cooking for the children.
Membership to both Penshurst Place and Hever Castle would be available to the Nanny.
This family have a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel, who can be separated if necessary.
Driver essential, car for working hours a possibility.
Salary offered: Circa of between £27,300 and £31,000 per annum.
This family are willing to consider a Nanny who is looking to take their own child to work with them.
With all Elizabeth Henry Nanny placements, applicants require at least 2 years professional experience, a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate and at least two checkable written references or contact details for verbal references to be undertaken.
